Hi, I’m Eric
I'm a writer and editorial strategist. I help organizations develop clarity about what to say and how to say it. That approach comes from my background in journalism and editorial work, as well as a lifetime of writing.
I started my career in digital media and journalism. When I moved to companies like Orchard and Fundera [acquired by NerdWallet in 2020], I brought that same editorial sensibility: What's worth writing about? What will actually help the reader? How do we maintain quality and clarity while reaching more people?
I run content teams like newsrooms rather than content factories. At Orchard, this approach helped establish the company as a trusted voice in real estate, growing to 100K+ monthly visitors. I've also written for Realtor.com, NerdWallet, AARP, and Business Insider, making complex topics in real estate and business accessible to general audiences.
A bit more about me:
I was born and raised in Brooklyn, where I still live. I studied History and English Writing at the University of Pittsburgh, and Spanish at Universidad Andrés Bello in Santiago, Chile.
I've been lucky enough to travel extensively across South America, Europe, and Asia [on this page: a photo of me after a long hike through the mountains of northern Vietnam], and I still write personal essays and travel pieces when something moves me. You can find some of that work on my Medium blog.
When I'm not writing or working, I'm exploring New York through food, playing tennis, tending to my container garden, and waiting for the Knicks to win a championship.
I love Jen.
